VTCT (Vocational Training Charitable Trust) is a UK awarding body regulated by Ofqual. They've been issuing qualifications in health, beauty, education, and care for over 50 years. A VTCT qualification is recognised by every care employer in the UK — and by most international employers too.
A blend of in-person workshops, e-learning modules, and on-the-job assessment. You'll attend 1–2 days per month of classroom training and complete the rest in your normal work, with a dedicated assessor reviewing your portfolio.
No. There are no clawback clauses, no minimum service period, no hidden fees. The training is genuinely free — funded by us as your employer. We invest in our team because it makes business sense to have qualified, motivated carers.
Even better — you can start above the entry-level induction and we'll support you straight into a Senior Carer pathway. We also offer specialist CPD modules in dementia, end-of-life, medication, and complex care.
Yes. Every team member who completes their induction and is past probation is offered a permanent contract. You're employed by us from day one of training — the qualification is the next step, not a barrier to entry.
VTCT is recognised internationally, particularly across the Commonwealth, EU, and Middle East. If you're planning to work abroad at some point, your qualification will travel with you.
